I’m a Swedish girl, wife and adventurer who moved across the world to Aotearoa for my very own love story (I met my husband here!). I'm very much in love with this beautiful country, and photographing love for a living just adds to the magic.
Other than seeing new places, I enjoy thrift shopping, and a good cup of coffee. When it comes to my photography I am especially fond of capturing genuine emotions with a relaxed approach, but never without intention and an eye for beauty. I am always down for a new love story, and I am ready to capture yours!

Here’s a little about what you can expect when you have me by your side!
Your elopement day is deeply personal, and I want your photographs to feel that way too. I’ll take the time to understand what matters most to you, while gently guiding you when you need it and giving you space to simply be present when you don’t.
With an adventurous spirit and an eye for the details, I’ll capture your adventure as it naturally unfolds, creating photographs that don’t just show you how it looked, but bring you right back to how it felt.
With my lens as my guide, I will create a visual narrative that reflects your unique connection, ensuring that every image evokes the emotions and magic that you experienced on your special day.

Wherever your love takes you, I’d love to come along.
I’m based in Auckland, New Zealand, but I’m always happy to pack my bags and travel wherever you’re dreaming of celebrating.
Weddings and elopements more than four hours’ drive from Auckland are considered destination celebrations, so I’ll create a custom quote tailored to your plans.
And a little bonus: my husband joins me as a second shooter for all destination weddings, at no extra cost! (Conditions apply.)

1 – LET’S MEET!
It’s so important to me that we get to know each other before the wedding, after all, we might hang out for your full WEDDING DAY! We meet, plan, and ask questions.
2 – PICK THE DATE & LOCATION
Let’s secure your spot and start planning accordingly. Is it on a North Island black sand beach or a South Island mountain top? It’s your special day and anything goes!
3 – THE PLANNING PHASE
As your day gets closer, I’ll be right there to help with the details. From a questionnaire, to logistics and a list of amazing vendor recommendations! I've done this many times before, so rest assured - I got you!
4 – ELOPEMENT DAY IS HERE!
It’s finally time! Your only job is to be fully present, soak it all in and enjoy every moment together. I’ll take care of everything photo-related. Let’s have the best time and create a little magic along the way!
5 – SNEAK PEEKS IN 24 HOURS
While you're still on cloud nine, I'll send a few of my favourite moments your way! A little something to relive the magic and share the big news while I work on the rest of your gallery.
6 – FULL GALLERY IN 1 MONTH
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be carefully editing and bringing your full, polished gallery to life. Sending those finished photographs your way is one of my favourite parts of the whole experience!

This is your retainer payment to book in your date on my calendar! a 40% deposit of your package, non-refundable.

If you’re getting married during the quieter season, you can expect to receive your full gallery within 1 to 2 weeks. During the busy summer season, turnaround is usually around 2 to 4 weeks.
But don’t worry, I won’t make you wait that long for a first look! I’ll send you 10-25 sneak peeks within 24 hours, so you can relive the magic and share the news with your loved ones.

Once you’re booked, I’ll send you my full list of trusted favourites to help make planning your day that little bit easier.

On your wedding day, I shoot with two cameras using dual memory card slots, so your images are backed up from the moment they’re captured.
After your wedding, I back everything up across two separate hard drives and keep both copies safely stored until your final gallery has been delivered. I’ll also keep your RAW files for one year after your wedding, for a little extra peace of mind.
Having Ioana shoot our wedding, I can honestly say is one of the best decisions we made for our day. First off, she is an absolute gem and is super amazing to work with. She is able to understand your vision and implement it so perfectly and professionally. She carries her self with such a sweetness but also knows how to get the job done (and a FANTASTIC job at that)! I distinctly remember saying to my husband as we drove away from our wedding “I don’t even care how the photos turned out, I’m just so glad we hired her”. But secondly, when we got the photos back they did NOT disappoint one bit! She was extremely timely and the quality was top notch. She captured so many beautiful moments that I didn’t get to experience throughout the day, as well as captured the ones I did in such a sweet way. There is not one bad thing I can say about her! She went above and beyond helping with little details throughout the day, producing amazing quality work and capturing our wedding in just the way I want to remember it.
