Hi there! We are Ioana (pronounced Yo-ana) and Josh.

I am a Swedish gal blessed to call Auckland, New Zealand home. New Zealand is the place where I met my husband, Josh. Here, I discovered a love for adventure and began building our beautiful future. It’s also where so much of my journey as a photographer has unfolded. Josh is a wedding videographer and founder of Flair Films. You’ll often find him working right alongside me as the videographer, which makes capturing stories all the more special by doing it together.

Almost six years and over 200 weddings and elopements later, we still can’t quite believe we get to call this our job. Our cameras have taken us across New Zealand, Europe and the U.S., capturing incredible couples in unforgettable places. I’m endlessly grateful for every story I get to be a small part of.

Travel is a big part of our lives, and Josh and I will take any opportunity we can to explore somewhere new. When we’re not behind the camera, you’ll usually find us with a coffee in hand, heading out on a big hike or making the most of a sunny day at the beach!

And the name Sélea? It’s my surname, with a meaning that feels beautifully fitting for what we do. It connects to the Hebrew word Selah, found throughout the Psalms and often translated as “a sacred pause.” In a way that is what a photography is - It captures a sacred moment paused in time. How perfect that we get to capture moments you’ll carry with you forever!

If you're laid back with an adventurous side but still want elegant photos, say hi! I specialise in helping couples feel at ease and capturing those effortlessly in-love moments. If you're nervous, don’t worry—I’ve got you covered! I’ll be your calm and collected professional bestie on the day.
I’m all about creating timeless photos that last, so if you love true-to-life colors, you’re in the right place!
When it comes to your portraits, I like to have a good mix of “posed” and “candid” shots, especially with film! I achieve that by giving you lot’ of prompts to do rather than micro managing your posing. I love to keep the editing true to their real life colour, and I want my photos to feel alive, warm, and of course romantic!
If you’re getting married during the low season, you can expect your photos within 3-4 weeks. If you’re celebrating in the middle of summer you can expect it to take 5-8 weeks. I always send you 50-80 previews the day after for you to enjoy while you wait!
Yes! We love working with second shooters. A second photographer captures a range of angles and moments that I am not able to while I focus mainly on the two of you. They can ensure that all of the little details and moments are documented fully. All of the images are then edited by me so that my style is consistent throughout your gallery.
It’s always a good idea to think through the timeline, and allow enough time between ceremony and reception to ensure you have enough time to both enjoy your guests, but also time for photos! We value your time with your guests a lot, and it should be a priority!
We deliver the photos in an easy-to-navigate and elegant online gallery that will be up for an unlimited amount of time. I do still recommending downloading your gallery and storing them somewhere safe.

The videos get’s uploaded to youtube and then linked to our online gallery. We also provide a temporary downloadable link!
I also offer albums if you want to preserve your photos physically.
